| Robert Dinnie (1808-91)
was a well-known master stone mason and father of the
famous athlete Donald Dinnie. His history of Birse is a
very well written book that was published in
1865. |

Ballogie, Birse and Balfour - and will be of great
interest to any one associated with the
area. |
