BCT has two types of members.

Ordinary Members

Everyone living in Birse parish and on the Electoral Register for the area is eligible to become an Ordinary Member of the Trust by completing a BCT Membership Form . Ordinary Members pay no subscription and remain members while they continue to be on the Electoral Register covering Birse parish. Ordinary Members are entitled to vote at BCT’s General Meetings and are responsible for electing BCT’s Trustees.

Associate Members

Anyone living outside Birse parish can become an Associate Member of the Trust by paying an annual subscription.

BCT is very grateful to people who become Associate Members as this helps support the work of the Trust. If you become an Associate Member, the benefits include:

• BCT’s full colour Annual Report and other BCT mailings, including invitations to BCT events.
• Special discounts on BCT books and other publications;
• Special opportunities to visit the unique water mills and other historic sites that BCT manages. The subscription for twelve months per household from the date of joining is £20 (£25 overseas).
